Congratulations to Chris Vaughan, Top Starpower Sales Person for May
I got an opportunity to sit down with Starpower Commercial Account Manager, Chris Vaughan. Chris has recently crowned the Top Starpower Sales Person for the month of May. Chris’s hard-working attitude and great customer service to his clients earned him this title and everyone at Starpower knows it was highly deserved! I had some burning questions that I wanted to ask Chris-I wanted to get his expert opinion on the latest and greatest in home theater technology.
Lynlee: Congratulations on being the top salesperson for May, what lead you to this honor?
Chris: A renewed outlook on “closing” projects. Much thanks goes to Mr. John Touchberry, Director of Sales and Mr. Paul Crane, Manager of Starpower’s Commercial Sales Group.
Lynlee: What do you see a lot of people buying these days?
Chris: It’s not one particular thing but rather a concept of fulfillment. Each client has their own “Wow Factor” so if you can hit on that even if it’s as simple as controlling their family room surround with an iPad 2, they’re pleased.
Lynlee: What do you think is the coolest thing we have at Starpower?
Chris: Star Companies. I love being able to offer the WHOLE PACKAGE. We truly have hit are the “One Stop Shop!”
Lynlee: What is your favorite thing about working at Starpower?
Chris: The never-ending opportunities to not only meet new people but have the chance to play with all of the new technology.
Lynlee: Do you have a specialty, Chris?
Chris: Commercial applications…anything that is too big or too crazy for the conventional home application.
Lynlee: Tell us something we don’t know about you!
Chris: I started my two-decade-old career as a Prewire Helper and climbed the technician ladder all the way into Sales and Design. My mantra is “I don’t ask anything to be done that I still can’t do myself.”
