MEET BUTCH WALKER
The legendary American singer, songwriter and record producer, Butch Walker, began his incredible musical career in the early 1980s and has since collaborated with some of today’s biggest music stars including Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Pink, Fall Out Boy, Avril Lavigne, Panic! at the Disco and more. With a deeply-rooted desire to find the best sound possible and a style of his own, Butch Walker has become one of the greatest musical influencers you might not know.
“I’m constantly trying to figure out how to get the best sound. It’s a self satisfying goal as a producer…” – Butch Walker
Butch Walker grew up when audio was primarily analog-driven and he prefers to make music and create his sound by hand. His relentless attention to detail in his recording process captures a rich, full spectrum of audio, which in turn, offers a better listening experience. This spirit embodies the principles that Klipsch stands for.
We can’t hear you over the awesome. That’s because we are demoing the new Klipsch Reference Premiere Speakers in our showrooms!
The new Reference™ Premiere series speakers from Klipsch is an enhanced version of the company’s award-winning, Reference Premiere series speakers which has been expanded to 16 models in three finishes. These second generation Reference Premiere speakers feature the latest technological audio advancements, premium material upgrades, and dramatic cosmetic details.
The series uses proprietary Tractrix® horn technology to improve high-frequency response and extension, while enhancing imaging and dynamics. An exclusive Linear Travel Suspension titanium tweeter maximizes dynamics, delivering detailed performances. A new, ultra-premium vented tweeter further smoothes high frequency response for enhanced detail and clarity. Klipsch signature copper Cerametallic™ woofers and Tractrix ports provide powerful low frequencies while minimizing distortion and maximizing efficiency.
New premium materials and dramatic design features used in the Klipsch Reference Premiere series are the epitome of modern elegance. The speakers come in three furniture-grade finishes – ebony, walnut, and hand-sanded piano gloss black. Cast aluminum feet give the speakers a modern appearance and minimize contact with the floor to reduce resonance. Signature Klipsch copper trim rings accentuate the tweeter and woofer, which can also be concealed by sturdy yet flexible magnetic grilles.
“We’ve taken the successful foundation of our best-selling speakers and enhanced them to create the hands-down, best-sounding premium speakers on the planet at these price points,” said Michael Buratto, product manager for Klipsch.
The 16 new Reference Premiere series models consist of five floorstanding towers (RP-8000FA Dolby Atmos® enabled, RP-8000F, RP-6000F, RP-5000F, and RP-4000F), three bookshelf speakers (RP-600M, RP-500M and RP-400M), five center channel speakers (RP-504C, RP-404C, RP-600C, RP-500C, and RP-400C), and three surround speakers (RP-502S, RP-402S, and the innovative, dual-purpose RP-500SA that functions as a Dolby Atmos elevation speaker or a rear/side wall-mountable surround).

The products utilize mid-century, modern industrial designs, and the latest technologies to produce the warm “Klipsch sound” we all love.
The Capitol One
The Capitol One is a semi-portable tabletop 2.1 Bluetooth speaker with analog inputs. The speaker is an active solution with two 2.25-inch drivers and a single 4.5 woofer. The One also features an 8-hour rechargeable battery, and it is available in a choice of walnut or ebony finishes.
The Capitol Three
The Capitol Three is a larger tabletop speaker that incorporates two 2.25-inch drivers, a 5.25-inch woofer, and dual opposed 5.25-inch passive radiators. The Capitol Three is compatible with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and analog sources through its 3.5mm and RCA inputs, and offers a phono preamp and USB Type B audio.
The Capitol Heresy III
First introduced in 1957, the Heresy, a three-way design, started out as a compact center channel speaker to accompany the Klipschorn in three-speaker stereo arrays. It eventually stood on its own.
Today, the new Heresy III has a more powerful woofer, a bi-wire network, and a titanium diaphragm tweeter with a larger magnet assembly. The midrange compression driver also features a new titanium diaphragm. With cabinetry that is proudly handcrafted in Hope, Arkansas for over 50 years, the Klipsch Heresy III speaker is a testament to the quality Klipsch demands from each and every one of its audio products.
In addition to delivering smooth, dynamic and low distortion sound, the Capitol Heresy III is being offered in an ebony finish with salt & pepper grille cloth and a blonde cherry finish and tan grille cloth. A co-branded Klipsch and Capitol Records logo will be attached to each grille, and the back of each speaker will feature a special edition plaque that will be hand-signed by the craftsmen.
