The builder of this multi-million dollar French inspired custom home recognized that his fifteenth century design needed a twenty-first century theater. The small stature of this theater room and its awkward shape could have easily given any other installer a "Napolean complex" in creating a custom solution to this unique challenge.
To overcome the challenge of delivery a big theater experience in a limited space, Starpower uncovered unused attic space along the side of the theater. While Starpower could not incorporate this space for use to enlarge the theater itself, Starpower decided to shock the senses with a "disco room" straight out of Saturday Night Fever. Special effects including acrylic-lighted floor, smoke machine, under floor subwoofers and a disco ball are synchronized to the audio and video systems so that everyone is a participant in the theater experience. In addition, in-wall speakers were strategically hidden and covered with special faux finishes, yet still provide the finest in sonically balanced audio.
